Heed bird printed

Just whizzed out the second colour of a print. Did some postcards on nice wholemeal paper, plus some greetings cards. Should be for sale on Etsy this weekend (or just drop me an email if you want some).

A bear behind

Issued a rather tardy Christmas present last night, our friend George. She likes bears.

It’s drawn using those pens that draw on ceramic and harden once you’ve whacked it in the oven for a bit. It was my first proper go with them and I found them pretty fun to use.

Hinterland preview timelapse

I’ve not shoved anything up here lately as I’ve been pretty much only doing stuff towards Hinterland, lately.

Here’s a little time-lapse of the drawing I did today. I’m sure drawing time lapses have been done since the beginning of drawing, time or lapses. I copied the idea specifically from Henry St. Leger.

Before you ask, the soup is spicy spinach.

Early present!

My incredible fiancée sprung an early christmas/birthday present on me:
An immaculate Zeiss-Ikon Contaflex super-b.

It really is pristine, considering it’s 50 years old. I’m very much looking forward to putting a film through it!

Non-vegetarian tea-towels

I’ve been beavering away this morning, screen-printing some tea towels with a design I tried to print the other week but botched royally!
Can’t wait to slap on the second colour.

UPDATE!

Second colour on. Pleased with results.

Upcoming exhibition

I thought I’d re-post this:
Myself and some very talented illustrators are putting on an exhibition at Bristol’s Centrespace gallery, commencing on the 23rd February 2012. Unfortunately I shan’t be in the country, so please do go along and do your best impression of me in my absence! After we all provided him with a ‘slice’ of landscape, the talented Henry St. Leger forged this rather wonderful poster:
